Dr Stacy Orr is a consultant psychiatrist who trained in the United Kingdom and Australia. She is registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency and Medical Board of Australia, and the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists with a Certificate of Advanced Training in Forensic Psychiatry.
Dr Orr has served as a Consultant Forensic Psychiatrist in the public sector in Queensland in the High Security Inpatient Service (HSIS), Prison Mental Health Service (PMHS) and Intellectual and Developmental Disability Mental Health Service. She has also provided reports and expert testimony in the Mental Health Court in Queensland addressing issues of criminal responsibility and fitness to stand trial. Currently, she provides general adult psychiatric services privately.
Beyond her clinical experience, Dr Orr has contributed to psychiatric research, publishing scientific papers on Treatment-Refractory Schizophrenia.
