Dr Geeta Chaudhary has been providing psychiatric care for children, adolescents and adults in her career spanning over 30 years. She has worked in India, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, and Australia. Dr Chaudhary gained her experience working in Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry, Crisis Assessment and Treatment Team, Rehabilitation Team, Therapeutic Community, Inpatient and Community psychiatry teams and Forensic settings.

 

Dr Chaudhary has experience in the assessment, diagnosis and management of complex cases of a wide range of psychiatric conditions. Beyond her practice, she has provided clinical leadership for multidisciplinary teams for over 25 years, working as a Staff Specialist Psychiatrist and Visiting Medical Officer. As a RANZCP accredited supervisor she is engaged in supervision, teaching, and training.

 

Currently, Dr Chaudhary runs her Private Practice in Newcastle, New South Wales, and continues to work as a Senior Staff Specialist and a Visiting Medical Officer in Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services.
