Dr Bonnie Law is an experienced psychiatrist with a diverse clinical background. She has worked in major hospitals across Queensland and Victoria, including Metro South Health and Monash Health. In her early career, she has worked with children, adults, and older adults in both inpatient and ongoing care settings.
Currently, Dr Law serves as a Consultant Psychiatrist in the public sector in Victoria, where she is actively involved in Adult Inpatient Care, Emergency Psychiatric Services, and the Crisis Assessment and Treatment Team. Additionally, she provides psychiatric services privately via telehealth, offering care to clients across Australia. She is also able to complete assessments in Cantonese.
Beyond her clinical practice, Dr Law has contributed to psychiatric research, publishing scientific papers on alcohol dependence treatment and the impact of genre and external support on propositional speech following stroke.
