Summary

Dr. Relan completed his medical and postgraduate psychiatric education at the National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences. In 2003, he relocated to Australia and gained experience as a Psychiatric Registrar at the Royal Adelaide Hospital, James Nash Hospital, and Modbury Hospital. After obtaining his Fellowship in Psychiatry in Australia, he served as a Consultant Psychiatrist at Modbury Public Hospital before moving to Brisbane.

 

Dr. Relan is currently a Senior Consultant Psychiatrist at The Prince Charles Hospital in Brisbane. He has a strong interest in multi-disciplinary psychiatric care and is passionate about mentoring the next generation of psychiatrists, teaching undergraduate medical students.

 

Additionally, Dr. Relan has been an Independent Medical Examiner for many years, conducting thousands of assessments for a diverse group of referrers. He is well-versed in providing robust and definitive opinions in medico-legal settings.
