Dr Iman Awan is an experienced psychiatrist with a diverse clinical background. She has worked in major hospitals across Metro North Health and Queensland as well as the United Kingdom, providing clinical services such as crisis interventions, assessments (including physical health and comprehensive risk assessments), formulation and management plans for a broad spectrum of mental health, behavioural and neurodiverse conditions.
Currently, Dr Awan serves as a Consultant Psychiatrist in the public sector in Queensland where she is actively involved in Child and Adolescent Care.
Beyond her clinical practice, Dr Awan has contributed to psychiatric research, publishing a scientific paper on the Association Between Anxiety and Atrial Fibrillation as well as contributing to cardiology research early in her career.
